I am a Post Doctoral Associate at Tata Cornell Institute for Agriculture and Nutrition in the Charles H Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. I graduated from University of California, Riverside with a PhD in Economics in 2016.
My first research interest encompasses studying the multi dimensional nature of the phenomena of malnutrition of women and children in developing countries. My second research interest lies in understanding specifically, how health insurance can play a role in alleviating poor health by increasing access to quality health services for the less privileged in developing countries. I am also interested in studying its unintended impacts on individuals.
